Enter onto a golden Italian marble foyer through the original paneled door and follow this restoration from the walnut newel post and stairway to the heartwood pine floors found throughout the home. Carrying on the tradition of a welcoming retreat for travelers for four generations!

The parlor features the original Eastlake mantel with gas logs, books to browse, and a floor-to-ceiling window leading on to the verandah. It is furnished with period sofas and comfortable side chairs where one can relax and enjoy reading local news.
Dining Room
Breakfast is served in the elegant formal dining room, furnished with an antique English Jacobean oak suite. The oak mantel is one of several original pieces that have been painstakingly refinished to its former beauty.
Kitchen
The new gourmet kitchen has been designed with a Victorian Period flair, but it includes all the modern amenities. Adorned with a tin ceiling, replica fan and crackled decorative wall tiles it is the heart of the home. A large granite island is perfect for buffet serving. There is a 6-burner gas stove, warming drawer, large stainless refrigerator and microwave drawer.

With rustic slate floors and dark wood ceiling, ferns and a twisted branch chandelier, it is the perfect location for large group dining. The adjacent stone patio brings guests another place to lounge and enjoy the intimate garden setting.
